The Data Analyst will support cross-functional teams in transforming data into actionable business intelligence. The candidate will be responsible for translating business questions into analytical frameworks, writing complex SQL queries against enterprise data warehouses, building interactive dashboards, and delivering executive-ready insights.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong SQL skills, data modeling awareness, business acumen, and the ability to partner effectively with both non-technical stakeholders and Data Engineering teams.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries against existing data warehouses/marts to extract datasets for business analysis.
Define, document, and standardize business KPIs and metric logic in collaboration with business stakeholders.
Profile and validate analytical datasets to ensure metric accuracy and consistency across reports.
Partner with Data Engineering by defining business logic and requirements for new data marts, schema changes, or pipeline additions.
Design, build, and maintain interactive enterprise dashboards.
Translate key business metrics (KPIs) into intuitive visual reports that drive operational decisions.
Implement performance optimizations, user access controls, and data refresh schedules for BI dashboards.
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, anomalies, patterns, and growth opportunities.
Perform root-cause analysis on operational metrics and clearly communicate underlying drivers to business leaders.
Conduct ad-hoc quantitative analysis to answer time-sensitive strategic questions.
Gather business requirements and translate ambiguous requests into technical analytical specifications.
Maintain metric catalogs and dashboard user documentation.
Present key findings and actionable recommendations to non-technical business partners using clear narrative storytelling.
