Job summary

Tenet Global Business Center, Inc. is seeking a Data Operations Support Specialist to ensure reliable data processing across Google Dataflow, BigQuery, DataStage and Google Composer.

You will monitor workflows, troubleshoot issues, and implement data quality checks to support data engineers and analysts. You will collaborate across teams to optimize performance, secure data, document pipelines, and develop automation to reduce manual tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Google Dataflow, Google Cloud BigQuery, Google Composer, and IBM DataStage.
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and workflow orchestration across multiple platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments (Google Cloud, IBM).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage data processing workflows in Google Dataflow and IBM DataStage.
• Oversee performance, availability, and data integrity of Google Cloud BigQuery datasets and queries.
• Manage Google Composer workflows for orchestrating data processing tasks.
• Implement data quality checks and validation routines within data pipelines.
• Identify and address data quality issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline issues, system failures, and performance bottlenecks across platforms.
• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to resolve technical problems and enhance system reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation of data pipelines, configurations, and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to enhance system performance, reduce processing time, and optimize costs.
• Ensure data security through access controls, encryption, and privacy compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide operational support.
• Train end-users and provide technical support for data operations on all platforms.
• Educate teams on best practices for data processing and orchestration.
• Develop and maintain scripts or automation tools to streamline tasks across platforms.
