Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Developer II, Data Operations to manage infrastructure for data operations, including servers, databases, and cloud services for Pressure Management. You will design data pipelines, ETL, and governance to deliver dashboards, predictions, and data warehouses.

You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure data is used effectively to drive business outcomes, automate ingestion and storage processes, and maintain high data quality across sources such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/IS or similar.
• At least 3 years in IT software development, data operations engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and scripting.
• Knowledge in Azure Synapse.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define database design, data flows, and data integration techniques.
• Design and build data solutions ensuring data quality, reliability, availability, and data governance.
• Provide technical expertise, risk analysis, and assessments of data platform changes.
• Ensure data is processed and stored efficiently and monitor data quality.
• Troubleshoot data operations issues.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, warehouses to drive business outcomes.
• Automate data processes using SQL, Python, Azure Synapse, and related tech.
• Create ETL designs and work with sources (Oracle, JDE, SharePoint, Excel, SAP).
