Job summary

Eleven VMS is seeking an experienced Lead Data to own the data platform architecture and steer technical decisions while remaining hands-on on pipelines. You will lead a small team of a data engineer and a data analyst, serving as the main contact for product, tech and business stakeholders.

You will design scalable data pipelines on Azure using Databricks, Spark and dbt, establish governance, and translate business needs into a data roadmap.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or related field.
• At least 3/5 years of experience in data engineering or data analytics, including lead experience.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably on Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and PySpark, with hands-on production experience of dbt.
• Strong background in data warehousing, ETL processes and data modelling.
• Ability to set high quality and reliability standards within a team.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders; fluent English.
