About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Records and Information Management Associate Director to join our team. This key expert will ensure that the company adheres to global legal and regulatory standards, with a particular focus on data protection, cybersecurity, and global insurance. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across multiple regions, this individual will drive major compliance and governance initiatives and foster cross-functional collaboration to strengthen our organizational framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert in legal and regulatory compliance, with a focus on data protection, global insurance, and cybersecurity.
Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders across different countries on legal, compliance, and governance matters.
Lead and/or support high-impact compliance, governance, and legal projects that enhance business operations and ensure regulatory alignment.
Act as a cross-functional connector, facilitating collaboration between Legal, IT, and Business teams to support smooth implementation of organizational changes.
Represent the compliance function in senior-level discussions, negotiating and communicating effectively with executive stakeholders.
Influence key decisions as a trusted individual contributor without direct team management responsibilities.
Leverage expertise in international standards (e.g., ISO frameworks, data governance best practices) to design and implement compliant, scalable systems and processes.
Maintain awareness of evolving regulatory landscapes and emerging compliance risks, ensuring proactive mitigation and alignment with global standards.
Qualifications:
10+ years of professional experience across compliance, legal project management, change management, and governance-related roles.
Proven ability to drive complex cross-border compliance initiatives and influence decisions at the executive level.
Strong understanding of data protection regulations (such as GDPR), ISO standards, and global cybersecurity frameworks.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated success in working effectively with cross-functional teams and leading without formal authority.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
