Job summary

A logistics data processing company in the Philippines is looking for a Data Encoder to handle various data entry tasks in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience in freight forwarding or strong data encoding skills. Responsibilities include entering data accurately, preparing reports, and meeting key performance indicators. Excellent English communication and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1-year experience in freight forwarding or logistics or 2-years as a Data Encoder.
• Knowledge in import/export shipment data entry is advantageous.
• Must be willing to work in Ortigas or Cubao.

Responsibilities

• Enter data from source documents into the database.
• Check work for accuracy and correct errors.
• Prepare and finalize required reports.
• Ensure assigned KPIs are met.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms
• Check completed work for accuracy and correct data when necessary
• Comply with data integrity and security policies
• Provide customers with product and service information with highest quality standard
• Research required information using available resources
• Prepare and finalize reports (i.e., End of Day Report, other reports as requested)
• Attend to client calls and meeting as necessary
• Ensure that assigned and discussed KPIs are met
• Perform other related/ad hoc tasks that may be assigned by the client or Team Leader
• Adhere to Management strategies in assisting with Data Entry-related tasks as delegated in urgent situations

Requirements:

• At least 1-year experience in freight forwarding or logistics is a MUST or 2-years of solid Data Encoder experience
• Licensed broker and with import/export shipment data entry experience is an advantage
• Fresh graduates of BS Customs Administration or any shipping/freight forwarding courses are welcome to apply
• With keen attention to details and accurate keyboard skills of at least 45 WPM
• Knowledgeable in EDI Cargo Wise is an advantage but not required
• Knowledgeable in MS Office and has high computer literacy
• Must be a team player and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, with positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent English language communication skills - both verbal and written
• Flexibility to accept and take on additional tasks when required
• Must be willing to work in our Ortigas or Cubao office
