Job summary

EY GDS seeks a data technical manager with extensive experience in big data engineering and cloud platforms to lead delivery across Azure Data Factory, Databricks and related services. You will mentor a team of data engineers, drive architecture decisions, and coordinate with onshore stakeholders to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Computer science graduate or equivalent; 15+ years IT experience with 5+ years in a similar role.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Flexible, proactive, and self-motivated with strong ownership.
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving.
• Proficiency in SDLC best practices.
• Experience with enterprise-grade solutions, security, performance and scalability.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience across analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support.
• Client management and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Azure Data Factory and Databricks in Azure cloud.
• Lead cloud architecture and ETL/ELT design, development and deployment.
• Coordinate with onshore teams to align goals and deliver workstreams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage timelines and deliverables.
• Mentor data engineers to ensure high-quality delivery and growth.
