Job summary

MediCard Phils., Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to design and manage data infrastructure that collects, consolidates, and converts raw data into actionable insights for business analysts.

The role is hybrid, based at the AIA Head Office in Makati City, with both remote and on-site work days. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of data engineering experience, strong SQL and Databricks skills, and proficiency in Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5–10 years’ experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python).
• Advanced hands-on experience with SQL database design and Databricks.
• Advanced experience in using Azure Cloud Databases.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Data engineering certification is a plus.
• Experience/knowledge in Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, and Genesys is a plus.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
