Job summary

Emapta is seeking a Data Engineering Delivery Lead to guide scalable data platforms and reliable pipelines. You will oversee architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration while coordinating internal engineers and external partners across complex programs.

Hybrid setup with onsite Makati attendance four times monthly. The role requires 6+ years in data engineering/leadership, hands-on AWS experience (S3/Glue/Lambda/RDS/IAM), and proficiency in SQL and Python.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering, DataOps, DevOps, or delivery management with 3+ years leading data/platform initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, pipelines, ETL/ELT, databases, and data warehouse/lakehouse concepts.
• Experience delivering multi-workstream data programs with dependencies and risks.
• Experience managing blended internal and external delivery teams.
• Hands-on with AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, IAM) and Databricks/Delta Lake.
• Knowledge of orchestration tools (Airflow) and CI/CD workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data pipeline reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering programs across multiple data workstreams and keep delivery on track.
• Represent Data Architecture and Delivery in cross-functional planning and executive reviews.
• Report progress, risks, and dependencies in business terms.
• Own delivery calendar, sprint/release planning, and go-live readiness.
• Coordinate internal engineers with external delivery partners under a shared backlog.
