Job summary

ING Hubs Philippines seeks a Data Engineer to design, develop and optimize data solutions within the Data Warehouse environment. You will collaborate with business units to translate requirements into scalable ETL processes and reports, leveraging Informatica, SQL and BI tools.

You will mentor junior teammates, contribute to data quality initiatives, and help advance ING's data mesh architecture while adhering to governance and delivery best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data warehousing or related function.
• 2+ years as a data integration expert.
• 1+ end-to-end BI project delivery experience.
• Financial services experience preferred.
• Experience with Agile in large organizations and CD/DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the business to understand requirements.
• Provide ETL solutions using Informatica to support BI needs.
• Design and develop data processes per ING’s standards.
• Analyze source systems to identify data sources.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Identify opportunities to add value to source data.
• Estimate effort for tasks.
• Implement and enhance automation processes.
• Design solutions aligned with ING’s data mesh architecture.
• Improve system performance via tuning and optimization.
• Contribute to documentation and code reviews.
• Follow project plans and schedules.
• Reuse components where possible.
• Promote Best Practice ethos.
