Job summary

BDO Unibank in Makati is seeking a Data Engineer to enable the Data and Analytics team to access and organize data from multiple sources, supporting faster analytics and modeling.

You will own the Enterprise Data Platform, manage end-to-end data workflows, update data dictionaries, and collaborate with data scientists and business partners to deliver data solutions.

On-site role based in Makati with a strong emphasis on data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related services delivery.
• Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati.

Responsibilities

• Own the understanding and maintenance of the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), ensuring its reliability and performance.
• Execute end-to-end data workflows covering data acquisition, ingestion, engineering, and delivery within EDP.
• Maintain and update EDP-related data dictionaries to support data governance and discoverability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and operationalized outputs to ensure continuity and data quality.
• Partner with Data Scientists, Analysts, and business stakeholders to clarify data requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Coordinate closely with IT, business users, and other teams to ensure data accessibility and usability across organizations.
