Job summary

Lewis Personnel Management is seeking a data-focused engineer to develop and maintain production data solutions using Elixir or Ruby, and to build data workflows with Python and Elixir.

You will work with PostgreSQL and SQLite, apply the data engineering lifecycle, write efficient SQL, and collaborate in a highly technical environment while managing priorities.

This role requires 2+ years of production experience with Elixir or Ruby, 2–3 years in data roles, and familiarity with ML concepts.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of production experience using Elixir or Ruby for data-related projects.
• 2–3 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Full-Stack Development, or similar Big Data roles.
• Experience working with Python and/or Elixir.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLite, or similar database technologies.
• Experience implementing the Data Engineering Lifecycle in an organization.
• Experience with SQL and database internals.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts.

Responsibilities
