White Cloak Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines using Databricks and AWS, transforming raw data into business-ready datasets. You will collaborate with business and IT teams to automate workflows and ensure high-quality data for reporting and analytics.

The role focuses on ETL/ELT development, data warehousing, and enabling Power BI reporting, with a 4 days onsite / 1 day remote work arrangement under a project-based contract.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Data Engineering, ETL development, or related role.
• Hands-on Databricks experience for building data pipelines.
• Experience with AWS data storage, processing, or integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Databricks and AWS.
• Build and optimize data workflows ingesting and transforming data from multiple sources.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, cloud storage, and third-party apps.
• Develop SQL queries and Python scripts for efficient data processing.
• Maintain data warehouses and data lake environments for performance and scalability.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot pipelines, and validate data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting and analytics needs.
• Prepare datasets to support Power BI reporting.
• Document pipelines and technical processes.
• Participate in testing and production deployment.
