Reporting to the Senior Data Engineer in Education Technology, and working closely with Professional Development colleagues, data, finance and quality teams to build and maintain reliable applications, reporting and automation that help teams work more efficiently and make better use of data. Your accountabilities will include: Development, maintainenance and documentation of Power Apps, Power Automate workflows and related Microsoft 365 solutions.
Enhancement and support of existing Professional Development applications, databases, trainer-management tools and feedback processes. Implementation of integrations using approved connectors, SQL-based data processes and agreed technical patterns. Support of Power BI reporting, testing, user support and training for business-critical data systems.
Ensuring solutions are reliable, secure, well-documented and aligned to agreed architecture, data and governance standards. Please review the attached job description for further details on the role.
An ideal candidate has the following qualities: Essential: Experience developing and deploying Power Apps and Power Automate solutions in a business environment.
Good SQL, data integration and cloud-based relational database knowledge, with a practical understanding of data modelling. Working knowledge of SharePoint lists, libraries, permissions and Microsoft 365 collaboration patterns. Ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders, understand requirements and provide clear user support.
Collaborative, accountable and detail-oriented approach to problem solving and continuous improvement. Desirable: Microsoft Power Platform certification or equivalent practical experience, including PL-200, PL-300 or PL-400 aligned capability.
Experience with Dataverse, APIs, connectors, Power BI reporting, Azure or AWS services. Familiarity with domain-driven design, event-driven architecture principles or wider data-governance practices.
