Plain Concepts is expanding its Data Dream Team with a hands-on Data Engineer who loves building data-powered solutions for clients worldwide.

You’ll design, develop and deploy ETLs with Spark (Python/Scala) on Azure or AWS, craft scalable pipelines, and champion testable, reusable code. Remote-friendly, agile, and collaborative culture with strong emphasis on ownership and impact.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of data engineering experience.
• Strong Python or Scala and Spark experience, processing large datasets.
• Cloud platforms experience (Azure or AWS).
• Hands-on data-pipeline development and CI/CD.
• SQL and NoSQL databases knowledge.
• Nice-to-have Databricks, Snowflake, or Fabric experience; IaC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the design and development of data solutions for challenging projects.
• Develop projects from scratch with minimal supervision and strong team collaboration.
• Be a key player in fostering best practices, clean, and reusable code.

You will be responsible for:
