Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Functional Tester or QA Analyst with a focus on data testing.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Functional Testing: Develop, execute, and document test cases based on functional and data-related requirements.
• Data Validation: Verify accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data across databases, APIs, and ETL pipelines.
• Requirement Analysis: Review user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers and data engineers to resolve issues.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression tests to ensure new features or data changes do not impact existing functionality.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with organizational standards, data governance policies, and industry regulations.
• Reporting: Provide clear and concise test results, metrics, and status updates to stakeholders.
