Job summary

ING is seeking a Business Analyst for the COO Risk ESG Tribe in Manila to transform complex data into actionable insights for data-driven banking. You will gather requirements, map data, ensure quality, and collaborate across Agile teams to deliver data products that support risk and regulatory reporting.

The role emphasizes data governance, onboarding, UAT, and continuous improvement, with a focus on translating regulatory standards into concrete data solutions and reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Information Management, Information Systems, or related field.
• Knowledge of Agile ways of working.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience in banking, finance, risk, or regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and data requirements.
• Support data onboarding, data management, and data quality initiatives across the organization.
• Perform data mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities using SQL.
• Developing and maintaining data definitions, business terms, and data models.
• Creating functional and technical mappings from source to target systems.
• Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Interpreting regulatory requirements and translating them into business and data requirements.
• Building reports and configuring business rules to support stakeholder needs.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver data products and services.
• Communicating progress, dependencies, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of data management standards, processes, and ways of working.
