Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Data and Automation Consultant in Eastwood, Quezon City. You will translate client requirements into scopes, build scalable data pipelines, and collaborate across teams to enhance onboarding and data delivery.

You will drive automation with CI/CD and DevOps/DataOps practices, troubleshoot issues, and document solutions, while mentoring juniors and upholding governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematical Sciences, or related field.
• Experience implementing and supporting data, analytics, or BI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, ETL, and data pipelines.
• Experience with cross-functional teams delivering customer-focused technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into detailed scopes of work with implementation plans, effort estimates, and project costing.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, reusable code, and data models for analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with implementation, tech ops, and cross-functional teams to improve onboarding and data delivery.
• Drive automation initiatives by improving CI/CD pipelines and DevOps/DataOps practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support releases and integrations.
• Maintain technical documentation and quality standards across projects.
• Mentor junior team members with code reviews and best practices.

Your Role

As a Data and Automation Consultant, you will:

• Translate customer requirements into detailed scopes of work, including implementation plans, effort estimates, and project costing.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, reusable code, and data models to deliver reliable and scalable analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with implementation, technical operations, and cross-functional teams to streamline customer onboarding and improve data delivery processes.
• Drive automation initiatives by improving implementation workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps/DataOps practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support ongoing product releases and customer integrations.
• Maintain technical documentation, knowledge libraries, and quality standards across implementation projects.
• Mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practice recommendations.
• Promote data governance, security, and access management in line with organizational standards.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematical Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Experience implementing and supporting data, analytics, or business intelligence solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline development.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in delivering customer-focused technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience developing reusable code libraries and optimizing data solutions for performance and reliability.
• Professional certifications in AWS, Azure GCP, or other relevant data technologies.
• Experience mentoring team members and contributing to technical documentation and quality assurance.
