Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking a Data Center Control Engineer to advance OT networking and infrastructure in our cutting-edge data centers. You will tackle complex OT challenges, apply security-conscious design, and drive improvements across power and networking domains.

You will collaborate with facilities technicians and engineers to develop scalable solutions, ensure regulatory compliance, and push innovations in OT and data center practices.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience designing and implementing OT infrastructure and networking.
• Experience with industrial control system hardware (PLCs, relays, IEDs) and networking integration.
• Familiarity with network segmentation and standard protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, IEC 61850).

Responsibilities

• Develop scope and requirements for networking initiatives to drive OT security solutions.
• Review new control system infrastructure projects and embed networking requirements end-to-end.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to resolve design, integration and deployment challenges.
