1Life Inc. is seeking a Data Audit Analyst to review, validate, and analyze company data ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. The role conducts regular audits across departments and prepares clear audit reports.
You will identify data discrepancies, investigate variances, and coordinate corrective actions with operations, finance, HR, and IT. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.
The Data Audit Analyst is responsible for reviewing, validating, and analyzing company data to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with established standards. This role conducts regular data audits, identifies discrepancies or errors, prepares audit reports, and coordinates with concerned departments to resolve data-related issues.
Conduct regular audits of operational, financial, HR, and other business data.
Review and validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity.
Identify discrepancies, duplicate records, missing information, and unusual data patterns.
Perform data reconciliation and investigate the root cause of identified variances.
Maintain accurate audit records, documentation, and supporting files.
Prepare audit findings, reports, and summaries for management review.
Coordinate with different departments to clarify and correct data inconsistencies.
Monitor compliance with internal data management policies and procedures.
Assist in developing and improving data validation and audit processes.
Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive company information.
Track corrective actions and follow up with departments to ensure timely resolution.
Provide recommendations to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Perform other data analysis and audit-related tasks as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
At least 1–2 years of experience in data auditing, data analysis, quality assurance, reporting, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, filtering, sorting, and data validation.
Experience working with large datasets and identifying data discrepancies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
Experience with data visualization or reporting tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
Knowledge of database concepts and basic SQL is an advantage.
Experience in healthcare, finance, retail, or other data-driven industries is a plus.
Familiarity with audit procedures, internal controls, and data quality standards.
