Job summary

Pioneer Insurance is seeking a Data Governance Associate to strengthen data architecture execution, focusing on data quality, documentation, and governance processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

This role strengthens data architecture execution by managing data modeling, documentation, governance, and ETL processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to data governance standards.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data Quality Monitoring - Regularly check data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Aids in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.
• Data Documentation - Assist in development and documentation of processes, standards, and decisions with data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
• Compliance Support - Help ensure data management practices comply with internal policies and external regulations. Assists in the application and implementation procedures of data standards and guidelines on data ownership, coding structures, and data replication to ensure access to and integrity of data sets.
• Data Stewardship - Support data stewards in managing data assets and maintaining data integrity.
• Training & Education - Participate in training sessions to understand data governance policies and help educate other team members.
• Data Issue Resolution - Assist in identifying and resolving data-related issues.
• Reporting - Generate reports on data quality metrics and governance activities.
• Collaboration - Work with DT and business stakeholders to support data governance initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
