Job summary

Pfizer, Inc. is seeking a Data Analytics and Full Stack Developer intern to gain hands-on experience in supporting and developing features for a web project. You will apply data cleansing techniques and build visualizations to deliver meaningful insights for customers.

You will also work on automating processes and extracting scheduled data to feed visualization dashboards, contributing to data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, in last or penultimate year.
• Experience with Data Structures or Algorithms from university/college, internship, hobby coding, or related experience.
• Coding experience in JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, or R shiny.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Data Analytics and Full Stack Developer, you will be gaining hands‑on experience on providing support and development of features in a web project. Applying data cleansing and implementing visualizations through the use of tools for the customers. Implementing automation of certain process/tasks and extracting scheduled data for the visualization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, and in your last or penultimate year of study.
• Experience with Data Structures or Algorithms from university/college, an internship, hobby coding, or other practical experience.
• Coding experience in one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript, R shiny.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Internship or work experience (e.g., research assistant, teaching assistant, personal projects, etc.) with programming in either: JavaScript, Python, or TypeTypeScript.
• Experience with one or more of the following: web application development, Unix/Linux, analytics, and visualization, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, and/or software development.
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
• Interest in automation and digitalization

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT REQUIRED

Knowledge in Hasura, GraphQL, Data Cleansing, R shiny App and using Power BI, Spotfire etc...
