PCWORX IT Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst to collect, transform, analyze, and visualize data to support business decisions. You will develop Power BI dashboards, write SQL queries, and provide actionable insights across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Operations.
You will work with MS SQL Server, MySQL, and Excel, perform EDA, prepare data for reporting, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into dashboards and reports.
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, transforming, analyzing, and visualizing data to support business decision-making. This role will develop Power BI dashboards and reports, write SQL queries, perform data analysis, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders across various business units, including Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Operations.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
Create and manage data models, visualizations, and reporting solutions.
Develop custom KPIs and metrics using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
Optimize report performance and manage automated data refresh processes.
Perform data transformation and modeling using Power Query.
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data from relational databases.
Support reporting requirements through efficient data extraction and analysis.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
Work with databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, and similar database systems.
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities.
Prepare and validate data for operational and management reporting.
Develop meaningful insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
Conduct pre- and post-production system and data testing and elevate issues when necessary.
Partner with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and other departments to gather reporting requirements.
Present findings and reports to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Translate business requirements into meaningful dashboard and reporting solutions.
Maintain documentation for data models, reports, processes, and reporting standards.
Ensure data definitions, calculations, and KPIs are properly documented.
Support data governance and reporting best practices.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field.
Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
Preferably with 1–2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
Familiarity with Power BI and basic SQL.
Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and reporting best practices.
