Job summary

Indra Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Requirements Analysis and Solution Design specialist to collaborate with business users and delivery teams to translate requirements into functional specifications, data mappings, and process flows.

The role involves analyzing data sources, profiling data, and supporting EDP initiatives, with hands-on experience in Azure and Databricks, ETL/ELT, APIs, and data validation, while supporting both Agile and Waterfall projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data platforms solutions, preferably Azure & Databricks
• 5+ years IT development and system analysis
• Has worked with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure technology stack or similar Cloud solutions
• Hands‑on experience in data and analytics projects involving data integration, data migration, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, system interfaces, Microsoft Azure Services and data validation activities
• Experience supporting testing activities, including functional testing, SIT, UAT, and end‑to‑end validation
• Proven experience in data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical data model design

Responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS AND SOLUTION DESIGN

• Collaborate with Business Users, Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Delivery Teams to gather, analyze, document, and translate business, data, and functional requirements into functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and data mappings.
• Conduct requirement walkthroughs, impact assessments, and gap analysis, ensuring traceability between business requirements and delivered solutions.
• Analyze source systems, data sources, data structures, relationships, interfaces, integration requirements, and perform data profiling and data quality assessments to support EDP initiatives.

BUILD

• Design, review and maintain Azure & Databricks configurations, integrations, and related components using approved functional requirements, development standards, and implementation guidelines.
• Design, review and maintain application code, configurations, deployment scripts, and release artifacts in accordance with approved functional specifications, development standards, and deployment requirements.

OPERATIONS SUPPORT

• Support deployment and release activities by coordinating implementation tasks, validating business readiness, and assisting with production implementation activities for data platform solutions.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident resolution for data platform applications, integrations, data quality issues, and production defects.

OTHERS

• Analyze business needs and data sources to support the development and maintenance of data platform integration, data quality processes, and solutions.
• Collaborate with System Integrators, Vendors, Business Users, and Technical Teams throughout the project lifecycle to support requirements gathering, solution implementation, stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and delivery activities.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in Data Platforms solutions, tools, and platforms preferably Azure & Databricks.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT development and system analysis.
• Has worked with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure technology stack or similar Cloud solutions.
• Hands‑on experience in Data and Analytics projects involving data integration, data migration, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, system interfaces, Microsoft Azure Services and data validation activities.
• Experience supporting testing activities, including functional testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and end‑to‑end (E2E) validation.
• Proven experience in data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical data model design to support enterprise data management initiatives.
