Job summary

Ubiquity in the Philippines seeks a Data Analyst, People Technology who will own SQL-driven data quality, RCA, and reporting across HR platforms. You’ll bridge HR operations and IT to safeguard data lineage and enable reliable analytics.

You’ll design and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and executive summaries, collaborating with HR, IT, and external vendors to translate requirements into robust database solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HR analytics, technical data analysis, or IT process analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong SQL proficiency for database investigation and reporting.
• Knowledge of enterprise HCM applications and ITIL concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on database anomalies, system failures, and data pipeline disruptions to establish preventive solutions.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to inspect raw database tables, validate schemas, and trace data lineage.
• Perform data quality audits, analyze incident trends, and assess risk across HR systems to mitigate data issues.
• Design, build, maintain, and optimize standard reports and dashboards to support HR decision-making.
• Coordinate with HR operations, HR IT, software developers, and vendors to translate needs into database requirements and communicate status.
• Prepare post-incident reports and maintain HR system process documentation and knowledge base.

What You’ll Do:

• Database RCA & SystemIntegrity: Perform deep-dive Root Cause Analysis on recurring databaseanomalies, system failures, and data pipeline disruptions in enterprise HCMplatforms to establish permanent, long-term preventive solutions.
• SQL Querying & TechnicalDiagnostics: Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries to inspect rawdatabase tables, validate schema structures, trace data lineage, andtroubleshoot complex data issues.
• Quality Audits & RiskAssessment: Perform routine data quality audits, analyze incident trends, andexecute risk assessments across HR systems to mitigate operational risks,prevent data corruption, and ensure compliance with process specifications.
• HR Reporting & Analytics:Design, build, optimize, and maintain standard operational reports, key metricdashboards, and executive summaries to support strategic HR decision-making.
• Cross-FunctionalCollaboration: Act as the primary liaison between HR operational units, HR ITteams, software developers, and external vendors to translate operational needsinto technical database requirements and communicate status updates effectively.
• Process Documentation & Knowledge Base: Preparepost-incident reports, maintain HR system process documentation, and develop acentralized knowledge base for system workflows and technical troubleshootingguides
  

What We’re Looking For:

• SQL Proficiency: Proven trackrecord writing SQL queries for database investigation, data validation, schemainspection, and report creation.
• Technical Problem Solving:Hands-on experience in Root Cause Analysis, IT Problem Management, or technicalsystems troubleshooting.
• HR Systems & ITILKnowledge: Working knowledge of enterprise HCM applications, cloudarchitectures, and IT service management concepts (ITIL framework).
• Education & Experience:3+ years of experience in HR analytics, technical data analysis, or IT processanalysis. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Soft Skills & Precision:Meticulous attention to detail regarding sensitive data paired with strongwritten and verbal communication skills to effectively bridge technical andnon-technical stakeholders.
