• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Analyst with a strong background in banking and financial services. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business data, generating reports, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has a "fixer" mindset, and can confidently work with large datasets while maintaining a strong understanding of business operations and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to support business decisions
• Create, maintain, and improve operational, financial, and performance reports
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and process improvement initiatives
• Develop dashboards, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to support stakeholders
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reports
• Investigate discrepancies and proactively recommend solutions
• Work closely with management and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
• Translate complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis activities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role
• Previous experience within the banking, finance, lending, mortgage, or financial services industry
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
• Pivot Tables
• VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Complex formulas
• Data analysis and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to interpret large volumes of data and provide business recommendations

Preferred Qualifications
