As a Data Analyst, you will manage, maintain, and monitor master data and costing. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining master data records in accordance with Insight policies. This position requires independent decision-making as well as following established procedures, ensuring tasks are completed accurately via manual entry and through automated tools.
Manage product information levels to established standards, including images, technical specifications, and other vital data elements.
Ensure automated data feeds successfully populate materials, and manually process download failures or non-automated data via proprietary systems and SAP.
Perform regular audits to ensure the accuracy of assigned manufacturers or categories, and manage the administration of special pricing.
Review and analyze new promotions and programs, communicating directly with providers and manufacturers to ensure complete product data and costing is supplied.
Identify system enhancements and implement data standard improvements to optimize automated processes and the quality of information.
Review sales opportunities and requests to determine if they meet Insight’s Catalog Policy and align with our business strategy.
Provide exceptional customer service support for both external and internal customers, including submitting claims for data issues and providing feedback for improvement.
Discontinue materials that are no longer available and proactively maintain the product catalog to company standards.

Associate's degree or above from a college or university; or equivalent industry work experience.
Advanced spreadsheet skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to understand processes and identify areas of improvement.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to write reports, present information, and effectively respond to questions from managers, customers, and manufacturer representatives.
Ability to multi-task, demonstrate strong organizational details, and meet aggressive service-level agreements in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work well within cross-functional teams.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:Ability to work in a standard office environment (moderate noise), sit at a computer terminal for extended periods, and maintain regular, predictable attendance including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
Previous experience managing automated data feeds or working within IT/technology product catalogs.
