Overview: The Application Support – Business Intelligence / SAP BW Analyst provides support to the Global Business Intelligence team. It offers administration, functional, and development support for the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) system and supports Global BI toolsets (Azure Data Factory, Power BI). Collaborates with SAP BI Reporting Analyst, Functional, Security and Basis teams. Some training will be provided as the role expands with BI tool ecosystem integration. A flexible shift may include evenings and weekends with on-call for escalated issues.

Responsibilities (SAP BW):

• Day-to-day development and administration of SAP BW systems.
• End-user support for BW BEx reports and training on reporting functionality.
• Develop/modify BW landscape objects as approved; develop/modify SAP BEx Queries and Workbooks.
• Monitor daily process chains; run manual data loads as needed; coordinate testing with BI Reporting Analyst.
• Coordinate with Basis for technical issues; collaborate to enhance monitoring of Business Objects.
• Maintain BW process documentation; ensure documentation is in English; ensure security coordination with IT teams.
• Establish strong working relationships across SAP teams, Transition Management, and Project teams.
• Create/update BW Object documentation.

Responsibilities (General BI Support & Admin):

• Route support tickets, monitor SLAs; monitor Data Factory orchestrations; assign Power BI Worksets.
• Support in requirement gathering for BW services; adhere to GIS security policies; perform other duties as needed.
• Assist in defining technical requirements for system maintenance and future functionality; coordinate SAP upgrades and testing.

Qualifications/Experience: Minimum 6 years SAP BW development; 2 years BW admin; experience with BW data modeling, ABAP in BW/ECC, Open Hubs, SAP components; Power BI experience; strong analytical and customer service skills; knowledge of Windows Server, MS Office, SharePoint, MS Teams; ServiceNow/ITIL experience preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience: SAP BW 6+ years; Power BI 3+ years.
