Job summary

Arch Global Services (Philippines) Inc. is seeking a data analyst to monitor, interpret and report on diverse data sets, supporting staff with meaningful insights.

You will manage data acquisition, perform statistical analysis, generate reports, and support process documentation. Strong Excel and SQL skills with attention to detail are essential for timely, accurate deliverables.

Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including macro generation.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation line of business is a plus.
• Regulatory knowledge related to statistical data call filings.
• Knowledge of Snowflake is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exposure and claim data sets and coordinate with Arch units to improve data quality and reduce penalties.
• Create documentation for aggregate financial and state-specific workers' compensation data calls.
• Serve as liaison for Allianz legacy functions.
• Address USR bureau criticisms and other inquiries with staff to fix data anomalies.
• Support Medical Data Call and Indemnity Data Call inquiries from data-collection bodies.
• Compile data and generate reports for staff review and submission.
• Assist with WC surcharge and assessment payments as needed.
• Perform data collection and analysis for ad-hoc and recurring requests.

Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting various data sets to provide meaningful feedback for staff. This role involves significant data acquisition and management, statistical data analysis and report generation. Additional responsibilities include support activities centered around process documentation and support build for the initiatives. The candidate will also be required to respond to ad hoc requests from staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor various exposure and claim data sets and work with Arch business units and support teams to improve data quality and avoid financial penalties, where possible.
• Responsible for creating necessary documentation to support aggregate financial and state-specific Workers Compensation data call reporting for all of Arch’s business divisions.
• Fill role as key-contact for any obligations mirrored to handle Allianz legacy functions.
• Assist in the resolution of Unit Statistical Reports (USR) bureau criticisms or other external inquiries. Work with staff to remedy any systemic data anomalies.
• Assist in the resolution of Medical Data Call and Indemnity Data Call inquiries received from the various data collection organizations.
• Compile data, create reports from various systems and send them to staff for review and submission.
• Assist in the fulfillment of WC surcharge and assessment payment obligations as needed in support of staff.
• Perform data collection and analysis in support of ad-hoc and recurring requests by staff.

Qualifications
