Job Summary
The Data Analyst plays a critical role in turning complex datasets into clear, understandable reports. You will work closely with different teams to track performance, identify operational trends, and answer key business questions using numbers and data models.
Responsibilities:
Data Collection: Gather data from multiple primary and secondary sources, databases, and APIs.
Data Cleaning: Filter, clean, and fix errors, missing values, or duplicate entries to ensure data quality.
Data Analysis: Run queries and statistical tests to spot trends, performance gaps, and patterns.
Dashboard Development: Build and update visual reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Stakeholder Reporting: Present findings, operational updates, and strategic recommendations to managers and non-technical teams.
Process Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and help optimize business workflows.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database queries, advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), and business intelligence tools.
Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation is an advantage.
Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to look at numbers, detect trends, and solve complex business problems with high attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication skills to explain technical results to non-technical partners.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related quantitative role (or a strong project portfolio for entry-level candidates).
