Job summary

TOA Global in Cebu, Philippines, invites a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support Australian renewable energy projects. You’ll process time-series SCADA data, develop automated calculation models, quantify energy losses, and create dashboards across Solar, Wind, and BESS assets.

You’ll work with Australian Asset Managers, site teams, OEMs, and contractors, using Excel, Python, SQL, and Power BI to deliver monthly client reports and robust performance insights while ensuring data quality and

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Renewable Energy, or related technical discipline with practical experience analyzing operational time-series data.
• Strong advanced Excel modeling and data manipulation skills; ability to develop automated processes in Python.
• Familiarity with SCADA interfaces, time-series data structures, and renewable energy technologies; good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Process time-series SCADA data and onboard assets into central databases.
• Analyze plant performance, quantify energy losses, and support root-cause investigations.
• Develop KPI calculations and automate client reporting in Excel, Python, and Power BI.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical Data Analyst to support our Australian renewable energy projects with performance analysis, SCADA data management, and complex contractual calculations. You will process time-series operational data, build automated calculation models, quantify energy production losses, and deliver high-impact performance dashboards across Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) assets.

Your Impact

SCADA Data Processing & Onboarding: Clean, validate, and process operational time-series data from SCADA systems and monitoring platforms; support the onboarding of new renewable energy assets into central databases.

Performance Analysis & Root-Cause Investigation: Analyze plant equipment across Solar, Wind, and BESS portfolios, identify operational anomalies or communication outages, quantify production losses, and support root-cause investigations.

Contractual & KPI Calculations: Calculate technical KPIs (Availability, Performance Ratio, energy losses) and execute contractual calculations in strict alignment with EPC and O&M project agreements.

Automation & Client Reporting: Develop, maintain, and enhance automated Python scripts and Excel models for monthly client reporting, interactive Power BI dashboards, and operational performance tracking.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise directly with Australian Asset Managers, site teams, OEMs, and technical contractors to resolve data discrepancies and operational underperformance issues.

What You Bring

Education & Domain Expertise: Degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Renewable Energy, or a related technical discipline with practical experience analyzing operational time-series data.

Technical & Software Stack: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (complex analytical modeling, data manipulation), working knowledge of Python for data processing and automation, and familiarity with SQL and Power BI.

Renewable Energy & SCADA Knowledge: Practical understanding of SCADA interfaces, time-series data structures, and renewable energy technologies (Solar PV, Wind, BESS).

Core Competencies: Ability to translate complex legal/contractual methodologies into repeatable calculation models, high attention to data quality, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal English communication.
