Job summary

Surbana Jurong invites a geodetic engineer for dam and hydropower projects across lifecycle stages. You will establish baselines, perform topographic surveys, and coordinate with design teams to ensure accurate base maps and stakeouts.

You will verify as-built data and support deformation monitoring, integrating GIS/CAD outputs for documentation and analysis. Proficiency with GIS, CAD, LiDAR, and leveling is required; PRC licensing or equivalent is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geodetic Engineering or Surveying Engineering.
• PRC License or Equivalent Local Surveyor Registration.
• Experience in dam and hydropower projects.
• Familiarity with GIS, CAD, and 3D terrain modelling.
• Construction site survey coordination.
• Geodetic principles, leveling instruments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct baseline geodetic and control point establishment.
• Perform topographic and hydrographic surveys.
• Coordinate with design teams for accurate base maps.
• Stakeout of design coordinates and monitor alignment.
• Provide as-built data and support construction tolerances.
• Verify design-construction conformance and document findings.
• Establish geodetic benchmarks for deformation monitoring.
• Conduct settlement and tilt surveys; integrate data with geotechnical tools.
• Report anomalies to engineering and safety teams.
• Create terrain models, maps, 3D renderings, and GIS datasets.
