Job summary

2GO Group is seeking a senior cybersecurity lead to own the defense strategy, coordinating internal IT teams to execute security initiatives. You’ll translate SMIC mandates into actionable plans, drive technical security across infrastructure, endpoints, and applications, and validate control effectiveness.

You’ll bridge strategy and execution, escalating risks and serving as the primary liaison with SMIC while strengthening threat and vulnerability detection across company resources.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, including 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experience working in a subsidiary or multinational company.
• Knowledge of local data protection regulations.
• Certifications such as CISM or CISSP.

Responsibilities

• Translate SMIC cybersecurity mandates into company-level execution plans, defining requirements, timelines, owners and deliverables.
• Drive technical security implementation across Infrastructure, Endpoint, and Application teams with clear tickets and progress tracking.
• Validate cybersecurity control implementation and effectiveness through evidence-based checks and remediation.
• Lead cybersecurity incident triage and response, coordinating with teams and applying business context.
• Identify, assess, and manage cybersecurity gaps across systems, data and processes with practical remediation or compensating controls.
• Manage exceptions and escalations with SMIC, documenting impact and securing resolutions or approvals.
• Strengthen threat and vulnerability detection through assessments, threat hunting, log monitoring, and SOC collaboration.
