Job summary

Fluence Energy is seeking a Network and Cybersecurity Engineer to deploy and deliver project security requirements, design reviews, and secure configurations across enterprise networks. You will perform vulnerability testing, monitor security tools, and drive security architecture improvements aligned with renewable energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity processes.
• Proficiency in different network and cybersecurity software, tools and applications.
• 2-3 years of experience in applied related skills.
• Knowledge of NIST, AESCSF and other related Frameworks.
• Knowledge of Firewalls, Routers, switches from brands like Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and effectively convey them to the development team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
• Exceptional teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system requirements, design specifications, installation and deployment instructions for network and cybersecurity needs.
• Lead projects for security requirements, network design reviews, and internal security testing.
• Monitor security tools and act as escalation point for malware and vulnerabilities.
• Test new software and infrastructure both manually and automatically.
• Ensure proper network controls with providers (firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS Monitoring, WAF, DDoS protection).
• Implement secure information exchanges with third parties and clients.
• Remediate findings from penetration testing and integrate into vulnerability management.
• Create enterprise security roadmaps addressing strategic requirements and trends.
• Maintain proficiency with vulnerability assessment tools; advise on security architecture and policies.
• Conduct security threat analysis and propose solutions for vulnerabilities.
