Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center Manila is hiring a Cybersecurity L1 Associate to support incident response within our Cybersecurity practice. You will monitor alerts, analyze events, and document findings to help reduce cyber threats in a fast-paced client environment.

You will collaborate with senior team members, gain hands-on experience across incident response, forensics, and log analysis, and contribute to ongoing security operations while demonstrating clear communication in English.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring security events and logs to identify suspicious activity and escalating issues through incident response channels
• Analyzing alerts, indicators of compromise, and threat intelligence to support incident triage and containment actions
• Supporting digital forensic and log analysis tasks to help determine incident scope, root cause, and affected assets
• Documenting incident details, remediation steps, and case updates in ticketing and security tracking tools
• Assisting in vulnerability assessment and threat detection activities across network and security platforms
• Contributing to incident response plans by gathering evidence, validating control gaps, and tracking follow‑up actions
• Collaborating with senior team members to execute mitigation measures and recover affected systems
• Applying cybersecurity framework knowledge to support client security operations and incident management tasks
