Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking a Cyber Security Operations Analyst to strengthen security across cloud, identity, endpoint, and infrastructure. You will detect threats, investigate incidents, and drive remediation while collaborating with global teams in a hybrid Ortigas environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
• Strong exposure to security operations and incident response
• Vulnerability management, risk remediation, security engineering, and security control implementation
• Threat detection, security monitoring, incident investigation, and SIEM platforms
• Root cause analysis and strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with tech teams and providers
• Knowledge of cloud, identity, and endpoint security tools
• Exposure to security automation and threat intelligence is preferred
• Understanding of Secure by Design principles
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies (MS 365, Azure) is highly regarded
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or CIS Controls
• Exposure to vulnerability management, incident investigation, service management, and workflow platforms

Responsibilities

• Strengthen security controls across infrastructure, cloud, identity, and endpoint environments
• Assess vulnerabilities, prioritize risks, and coordinate remediation
• Enhance security monitoring and threat detection to reduce false alerts
• Investigate, contain, resolve, and support recovery from security incidents
• Refine incident response processes through testing and lessons learned
• Optimize security tools for automation and efficiency
• Embed Secure by Design and Secure by Default principles across technology delivery
• Partner with technology teams, service providers, and stakeholders to maintain security practices
• Provide technical security guidance to support risk-based decisions
• Improve threat detection, incident response, and recovery capabilities
• Drive measurable cybersecurity improvements aligned with strategy 2030
