Job summary

Outsourcey in the Philippines seeks an entry-level cybersecurity professional to join a growing BPO security team. You will monitor networks and systems, assist in incident response, and support remediation efforts while helping implement controls and maintain audit-ready reports.

You will gain hands-on experience across Azure, DLP, PAM initiatives and collaborate with IT and business teams to promote best practices and protect critical data.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or working towards completion).
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and eagerness to learn.
• Foundational technical skills - Eg. network security, encryption, and common cyber threats.
• Familiarity with security tools (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners) is desirable.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks and systems for security threats and suspicious activity.
• Assist in responding to security incidents and support incident investigations.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and help track remediation progress.
• Support the implementation of cybersecurity controls and compliance measures.
• Assist with regular security audits and reporting.
• Participate in cyber awareness training and promote best practices across the business.
• Document findings and maintain accurate records of security events.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to resolve security issues.

• Data Loss Prevention (Purview and/or Zscaler)
• Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
• Microsoft Sentinel
• Microsoft Entra ID and Conditional Access
• Privileged Access Management (CyberArk, BeyondTrust or similar)
• Network security, firewall management and cloud networking
• Security operations and incident response
• Provide practical support across Azure, identity, network security, DLP, monitoring, and PAM initiatives.
