Job Description
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Answer inbound calls and respond to email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage shared sales and accounts inboxes – process orders, returns, credits, invoices, and statements.
- Prepare and set up quotes, respond to pricing requests, and follow up to secure sales.
- Provide accurate product, pricing, and availability information to customers.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Liaise daily with New Zealand sales representatives and internal teams to ensure follow-ups are actioned.
- Support order dispatch coordination with the warehouse team in New Zealand.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP (Cin7 Core) & CRM (Hubspot) systems.
Communication & Collaboration
- Participate in Daily Team Meeting with NZ team.
- Participate in weekly meeting cadence with the NZ General Manager and team.
- Maintain daily communication with the NZ-based team via Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, and other approved channels.
- Ensure consistent reporting and updates to management on tasks and open items.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or back-office administration (trade/wholesale or electrical experience is a plus).
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Confident phone manner and customer-first approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience using ERP or CRM systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow structured processes.
- Reliable home office setup
Performance Expectations
- Consistent on-time attendance within NZ business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM NZT).
- Adherence to agreed SLAs for response times and task turnaround.
- Accurate and timely completion of customer transactions and order processing.
- Active participation in meetings and alignment with team communication protocols.
