Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a reliable cashier to handle customer transactions accurately and provide friendly, professional service. The role requires working during overtime, graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

The cashier will greet customers, process payments, issue receipts, operate the POS system, and balance the cash drawer at shift end. Physically able to stand for long periods and start immediately may be required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
• Great interpersonal and customer service skills; can work efficiently and effectively even under pressure.
• Amenable to working overtime, graveyard, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Process cash, credit/debit card, and other payment transactions.
• Accurately calculate and provide change to customers.
• Issue receipts, invoices, or other transaction records.
• Operate and maintain the cash register/POS system.
• Verify prices, discounts, promotions, and payment details.
• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Report discrepancies or payment issues to the supervisor.
• Assist customers with basic inquiries and concerns.
• Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and secure.
• Follow company policies regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, and security.
• Assist with other store or administrative duties as assigned.
