Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and prep areas.
• Receive, check, and store food supplies properly.
• Ensure ingredients are labeled, dated, and stored using FIFO procedures.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Support kitchen staff during busy service periods.
• Report shortages or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
