Job summary

Princess Cruises in the Philippines is seeking a skilled tailor to join the Rooms Division aboard our ships. The role focuses on alterations, repairs, linen preparation, and uniform issuance for crew, with hands-on work using industrial sewing equipment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in tailoring, experience in hospitality or cruise settings, and strong English communication. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive onboard benefits.

Qualifications

Vocational training or certification in tailoring is preferred.
Minimum 2 years tailoring or garment alteration experience, ideally in hospitality or cruise environments.
Experience with industrial sewing machines and handling different fabrics.

Responsibilities

Alterations & Repairs: perform timely alterations and repairs to uniforms and tuxedo rentals.
Linen Preparation: separate and prepare linens for collection by departments.
Uniform Issuance: assist with issuing in-service uniforms.
Laundry & Housekeeping Support: participate in routine laundry and housekeeping tasks.
Inventory Management: maintain inventory of linens and uniforms and conduct monthly counts.
Organization & Storage: assist with loading and storing linens and uniforms according to standards.
Sanitation & Upkeep: ensure sanitation of storerooms and a safe environment.
Emergency Duties: perform General Emergency Organization duties as required.
