Job summary

V2X Inc in the Philippines is seeking a Central Receiving & Shipping Point Lead to oversee receiving and shipping, coordinate with carriers, and optimize outbound loads. The role manages shift schedules, safety briefings, and trains staff on MHE such as forklifts and cranes.

This position requires experience with warehouse management systems (Maximo) and military logistics (GCSS-Army, TC-AIMS, GATES), along with strong documentation and safety compliance. Strong supervisory skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related CRSP experience may substitute for education
• Valid US driver’s license required; CAC eligibility and US Passport required
• US citizenship required; GCSS-Army certification 40 hours required

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the work of subordinate staff by coordinating, assigning, monitoring, and evaluating work
• Provide accountability for cargo received and shipped through the operations facility
• Maintain digital logs in Warehouse Management Systems (Maximo) or military systems (GCSS-Army, JCM, TC-AIMS or GATES)
• Ensure that safety standards, security procedures, and departmental rules are observed and maintained
• Direct the safe discharge of cargo from commercial carriers, flatbeds, and containers
• Sign off on manifests, export documents, and transportation movement requests (TMRs)
• Conduct daily Tailgate Safety Meetings and ensure PPE compliance and safety protocols
• Identify and isolate frustrated cargo and research its origin to resolve delays
• Organize freight by priority, destination, or department to prevent cross-contamination of orders
• Ensure wrapping and palletizing of outgoing shipments is correct
• Performs other duties and assignments as required

This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP***

Overview

Under supervision of the Transportation Manager, the Central Receiving & Shipping Point (CRSP) Lead is responsible for the receiving and shipping of all freight, optimize outbound shipments by coordinating with carriers to ensure trucks are loaded to capacity and depart on schedule. Manage shift schedules, conduct safety briefings, and train staff on material handling equipment (MHE) like forklifts and cranes. Maintain digital logs in Warehouse Management Systems (Maximo) or military systems (GCSS-A, TC-AIMS or GATES). Handle Bills of Lading (BOL) and HAZMAT manifests. Maintain a clean workspace and manage the maintenance of warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
• Education/Certifications:
  • A valid US driver’s license is required.
  • Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must have valid US Passport.
  • Must be US citizen.
  • H.S. Diploma + 4 years’ experience OR associate’s degree with 3 years’ experience.
  • Certified Logistics Associate/Technician or certifiable CRSP experience required
  • 40 Hour GCSS-Army certifications required.
• Experience:
  • Approximately one (1) to four (4) years in CRSP operations (Highly preferred).
  • Warehousing experience is a must
  • Having a forklift operator’s license and being able to learn or operate a manual transmission is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Knowledge of computers and related software including spreadsheets, word processing, and windows.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with external and internal customers, ability to keep records and prepare reports.
  • Strong verbal and written skills required
  • Must be a self-starter, perform under no supervision.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing to customers and workers.
  • Able to respond to public inquiries and complaints in a tactful and effective manner.
• Supervisory Skills
  • Experience as a foreman or in a lead capacity regarding shipping and receiving services military or civilian.
• Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Conducting daily "Tailgate Safety Meetings" and ensuring all staff are wearing proper PPE and following safety protocols.
• Working Conditions:
  • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
  • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
  • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
  • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and policies.
