Job summary

EY Philippines is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer, Cross-Platform Management to join our growing security team. You will design, implement, and migrate security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR), SIEM, EDR/XDR across cloud and on‑prem environments.

The role emphasizes governance, secure design, and collaboration with DevOps and IT operations to protect data and systems while advancing the firm’s zero-trust strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum 6+ years of cybersecurity design, build and implementation experience in large-scale environments.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, etc.) and SOAR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, build, implement, and upgrade security systems to protect data, systems and network.
• Review and implement security controls across enterprise infrastructure and cloud.
• Conduct capacity planning for security appliances and licenses and plan hardware refreshes.
• Document project steps and work with engineering teams on integration, deployment and enhancement projects.
• Design security project plans for SIEM, XDR/NGAV/NGFW and DevSecOps aligned with zero-trust and compliance.
