RCBC is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst in the Philippines to independently evaluate credit proposals by validating financial statements and generating risk ratings for borrowers. The role involves preparing credit management reports for BSP and other external parties, ensuring adherence to Basel II and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Financial Management or other finance-related fields.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Experience in evaluating credit proposals and validating financial statements.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate creditworthiness of borrowing accounts above P1OM through financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Ensure timely and accurate risk ratings and compliance with credit policies and BSP Basel II requirements.
• Prepare credit management reports for BSP and external parties (investors, rating agencies, auditors).
• Assist in BSP examinations and liaise with bank units to avoid sanctions.
• Monitor aging and past-due reports and identify risk, recommending mitigations.
