Job Description
The role involves reviewing and assessing credit applications, financial statements, and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and assessing credit applications, financial statements, and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Analyzing applicants’ creditworthiness based on financial history, income, collateral, and risk factors.
- Ensuring compliance with company credit policies, regulatory requirements, and lending procedures.
- Identifying potential risks and providing recommendations for approval, revision, or decline of credit applications.
- Coordinating with sales, loans processing, and other departments to resolve discrepancies or obtain additional information.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate credit review reports and records.
- Monitoring approved accounts for early signs of delinquency or non-compliance with terms.
- Assisting in the development and enhancement of credit review procedures and risk assessment tools.
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing required credit documentation and reports.
- Performing other related tasks as assigned.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in credit analysis, credit review, or related roles (preferably in banking or financing institutions).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of credit policies, risk management, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple applications and meet turnaround times efficiently.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
