Job summary

East West Banking Corporation in the Philippines seeks a Credit Policy Officer to join the Consumer Lending team in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). You will develop and enhance credit policies across acquisitions, underwriting, portfolio management, and collections.

You will assess portfolio trends, evaluate policy effectiveness, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements while collaborating with business units on product launches to balance risk and reward for the auto loans portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Banking, Finance, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in consumer credit risk management, processing, approvals, collections, or portfolio analytics within the banking industry.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using SAS or decision tree platforms.
• Solid understanding of credit lifecycle management and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Onsite work in BGC, Taguig.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain updated and competitive credit policies for acquisitions, underwriting, portfolio management, and collections.
• Analyze portfolio performance, credit test results, and market trends to identify opportunities, risks, and policy enhancements.
