Job Summary

Supports and assists the Branch Head in credit operations and in the maintenance of branch premises in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Branch Credit Operations: Assists the Branch Head in credit operations and loan processing, including receiving clients and attending to their inquiries, pre-screening clients, conducting verification processes, encoding loan information, and providing feedback to concerned parties.
  • Branch Credit Operations tasks include:
    • Receives clients and attends to their inquiries regarding loan application
    • Pre-screens clients to determine their financial needs, pension type and eligibility for loan application; secures the necessary documentation to facilitate loan processing
    • Conducts the appropriate verification process to determine clients pension status, loanable limits, and accuracy of information provided in submitted requirements
    • Encodes loan information to database and prepares the necessary documentation to initiate the loan approval process
    • Provides timely feedback to concerned parties (e.g. walk-ins/ sales agent) on status of application to facilitate remedial action and minimize delays in processing (e.g. due to lack of proper documentation)
    • Coordinates with Head Office for loan payment processing and release; facilitates loan proceeds releasing to borrowers; conducts necessary follow-ups to ensure timely release
    • Assists the Branch Head in preparing documents/ data for management reporting
    • Identifies areas for process improvements in accordance with customer needs and company's requirements; provides input to Branch Head/ Credit management
  • Customer Relations Management: Engages clients and attends to their inquiries according to Golden Legacy's customer service standards, and suggests ways to improve customer service practices.
  • Branch Administrative Management: Supports and assists the Branch Head in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of branch premises, including maintaining an inventory of office supplies, efficient filing system, and record of office expenses.
  • Others: Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
