The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business or a related field
• 2 years of proven experience as a Credit Officer or similar role in the financial industry
• Strong understanding of financial statements, credit reports, and risk assessment techniques
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in financial analysis software and MS Office Suite
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with product providers, clients, and team members
• Highly process-driven and task-oriented, with a proven ability to complete responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and with strong attention to detail. A structured approach to task management is essential to uphold high standards and consistently meet deadlines.

Your Daily Tasks

• Credit Analysis: Conduct thorough credit assessments of individuals and businesses applying for loans by reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents.
• Risk Assessment: Evaluate credit risk and provide well-informed recommendations on loan approvals, ensuring compliance with established credit policies and guidelines.
• Financial Statement Analysis: Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and other financial data to assess the financial health of loan applicants.
• Documentation: Prepare and review loan documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Client Interaction: Communicate with loan applicants to gather additional information, address inquiries, and explain credit decisions clearly and professionally.
• Credit Policy Compliance: Ensure full compliance with internal credit policies, operational procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Track the performance of existing loan portfolios, identify emerging risks, and prepare regular reports for management review.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with departments such as risk management, legal, and finance to support comprehensive credit evaluations and timely decision-making.
• Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by resolving inquiries and concerns related to credit applications promptly and professionally.
• Market Analysis: Stay current on market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes impacting the credit industry.
