Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a creative Packaging Designer with 3–5 years of experience to lead concept development and produce production-ready artwork.

You will collaborate with Brand Marketing, Product Development, and suppliers, manage multiple projects, and mentor junior designers while keeping on-brand and print-ready results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
• 3–5 years of packaging or creative design experience.
• Strong portfolio of packaging concepts across multiple platforms.
• Leadership experience managing a team of creatives.
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience in FMCG/food/retail or agency environment is a plus.
• Solid understanding of dielines, print production, color management, branding, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative packaging concepts and production-ready artwork for various products and campaigns
• Create packaging systems, layouts, mockups, and visual studies aligned with brand guidelines
• Ensure all designs are visually compelling, on-brand, and optimized for print production
• Work closely with Brand Marketing, Product Development, Procurement, and suppliers to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs
• Prepare final artworks and coordinate revisions based on stakeholder feedback
• Stay updated on design trends, packaging innovations, materials, and printing techniques
• Assist in conceptualizing seasonal campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives
• Design marketing and campaign materials beyond packaging — as needed
• Maintain organized design files and follow internal creative processes and timelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Fine Arts, Advertising, or related field
• At least 3–5 years of experience in packaging design, graphic design, or creative design
• Strong portfolio showcasing packaging concepts and multi-platform creative work
• Strong leadership and experience in handling a group of creative people.
• Proficient in:
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
• Experience in FMCG, food, retail, or agency environment is an advantage
• Strong understanding of:
  • Packaging layouts and dielines
