Job summary

PREXIPHIL CORPORATION seeks a qualified crane operator to safely set up, position, test, and operate mobile, tower, overhead, or crawler cranes to lift and position heavy machinery and materials in Manila, Philippines.

Responsibilities include daily safety inspections, load verification, signaling with riggers and ground crews, site condition assessment, weather monitoring, and reporting any mechanical defects to site management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-use safety checks, inspect wire ropes, hooks, rigging gear, hydraulics, and limit switches to verify proper function and structural integrity
• Verify load weights, read load charts, ensure appropriate rigging techniques are applied, and verify cargo is properly secured before hoisting
• Coordinate continuously with riggers, dogmen, and ground crews using standard hand signals, two-way radios, and blind-lift protocols
• Assess site conditions, monitor wind speeds and weather hazards, identify ground instability or overhead power lines, and stop operations immediately if safety is compromised
• Perform basic equipment maintenance, maintain accurate operator logbooks, and report mechanical defects or repair needs immediately to site management
